Each day’s coin is picked from our own researched catalog of 152 U.S. issues by a fixed date rule — the same date always shows the same coin, and the rotation runs through every coin exactly once before any repeats. It needs no manual work and no daily updates: the page works on its own, every day. The coin’s facts come only from our own catalog and guides — mintage, variety, and grade-tier value ranges — plus a live melt value (the coin’s published pure-metal weight times the live gold or silver spot price, from our own Worker) and the latest auction result for that exact year, series and mint where one exists. A dash (“—”) means that figure is not published for that issue; we never invent one.
